Blood streamed from the beast's forelegs, yet he continued to run, and he did not stop until the hospital was clear out of sight. Panting of exhaustion, he collapsed upon the wet grass. Sweat, dew, blood, and loose fur mingled to form a disgusting mixture, staining the ground. When he finally awoke, the dawn was just starting to approach. The harvest moon had finally sank behind the mountain's peak, where it seemed to impale itself, bleeding a silver light upon the mountains, before finally submitting to the Sun’s mighty rays.
